Living with Constant Mathematical Principles

Mathematical principles have remained constants for thousands of years and even more. Although there have been many discoveries of science with enhanced and deepened our understanding of time and space, the basic principles of mathematics have remained constant throughout the ages. Our forefathers used the same mathematical probabilities to calculate their chances of having a great hunt in the olden times as those mathematical calculations now being used by the military in combat. Sailors have crossed the oceans since time immemorial using the same mathematic principles that are used in the present. The answer will remain constant, no matter how old or how long these mathematical principles have been used in a given field.

Mathematics is an exact science, which is considered as a universal language. Mathematics is considered as universal because everyone would recognize a given mathematical principle. Wherever you are and whatever language you may speak, mathematic problems with the same givens will still have the same answer. In our daily lives, the application of mathematical principles also remains constant. If you look closely at your everyday activities, you will notice that you apply mathematics in almost everything you do just like your ancestors have in the past. For instance, for people who love to cook, the use of measuring cups, spoons and devices of the same nature have been used from time immemorial. The size and shapes of measuring materials may have varied as time goes on but the same mathematic principle of ratio and proportion remains constant and is applied by cooks all over the world for hundreds of generations.
